Dr. Ebrahim Bagheri

Professor Bagheri's research centres on responsible information retrieval, natural language processing, and knowledge graphs, with sustained engagement across industry, government, and civil society. A recipient of the NSERC Synergy Award for Innovation, he has founded and led interdisciplinary training initiatives on the responsible development of AI.

Dr. Rhinehart leads the Learning, Embodied Autonomy, and Forecasting (LEAF) Lab and is cross-appointed to the Department of Computer Science. His research develops the algorithmic foundations of robot learning for autonomous systems, drawing on reinforcement learning, imitation learning, and information theory.
